Macau announces £1.2 billion Gotham City inspired new resort
January 23, 2015Sources have announced that a brand new £1.2 billion super resort is being built in Macau and is due to be completed at the end of this year. The resort is inspired by Batman’s Gotham City and will feature tons of superhero attractions including a Superwoman go-karts.
The resort itself is names Studio City and the developers behind it have unveiled plans for what will be Asia’s highest Ferris wheel at 130 meters above the ground. The unique thing here is that the Ferris wheel is to be built into the middle of the massive resort building itself, titled the Golden Eye this attraction was said to be inspired by asteroids shooting through a Gotham City buildings.
The hotel will include 1600 sate of the art rooms, restaurants to suit all tastes from around the world containing star class chefs, a 5,000 seat stadium arena designed for concerts, sporting events and more.
There will also be a 30,000 square foot mall and to top it off a Pacha nightclub to cater to the night life lovers. The Pacha brand already exists in places such as New York, Ibiza, Dubai, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
This is shaping up to be an impressive piece of leisure and entertainment.
